Omomuki Health Grants provide funds to non-profit organizations offering access to HIV medication, HIV testing services, and PREP education.

The Taiwan AIDS Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2005 to educate the public about HIV and HIV prevention. The Foundation provides HIV testing, as well as online, phone, and in-person counseling. The Foundation runs three LGBT community centers for HIV/AIDS prevention and education, in Taipei City, Hsinchu City, and Chiayi County.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is one of the nation’s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre community, since 1988 BC/EFA has raised more than $250 million for essential services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States. Broadway Cares awards annual grants to more than 450 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide and is the major supporter of the social service programs at The Actors Fund, including the HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic, The Dancers’ Resource and the Stage Managers’ Project.

 


GMHC is the world’s first and leading provider of HIV/AIDS prevention, care and advocacy. It provides a broad away of services to New York City residents including care coordination, an HIV/AIDS hotline, legal services, meals and nutrition, mental health services, wellness services, and workforce development programs.

The Center offers the LGBT communities of NYC health and wellness programs; arts, entertainment and cultural events; recovery, wellness, parenthood and family support services. The Omomuki grant funds in part The Center’s HIV testing and PrEP education programs, as well as participation in New York City’s Pride Parade.

The Taiwan Love and Hope Association and Sunshine Queer Center is based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan’s second largest city, and is the first established LGBT center in Taiwan. It is dedicated to AIDS prevention and control, and provides medical care, counseling services, and family services to the LGBT community.

 

Taiwan GDi Association

Taiwan GDi Association was founded in 2013 in Taichung, Taiwan’s third largest city, to provide support for Taichung area LGBT citizens. Taiwan GDi organizes the annual Taichung Pride Parade and other events, promotes LGBT equality with publications and educational programs, assists with LGBT related research studies, and hosts health related workshops.

Taiwan Youth Foundation, based in Taichung City, was founded in 2004 to encourage Taiwanese youth to participate in public affairs. It holds forums to raise LGBT & HIV awareness, and publishes the seasonal magazine Temperature to report local stories and youth activities. In 2015, Taiwan Youth Foundation hosted the annual Taichung LGBT Pride with 200 volunteers promoting local HIV prevention activities and LGBT equality.

Living-with-Hope

The Living With Hope Organization was founded 20 years ago to fight the spread of HIV in Taiwan. With offices in Taipei and Kaohsiung, Living With Hope Organization provides free and confidential HIV testing at their offices as well as at many local nightclubs; telephone counseling on HIV prevention and treatment; counseling to assist those living with HIV; counseling for depression, anxiety, and substance addiction; and education advocacy in schools and businesses, and through lectures, seminars, and traditional and social media.
